Officers from the Shire of Denmark have advised that the whale carcass reported at Ocean Beach Surfing Spot is no longer in place.
The beach has been reopened by the Shire of Denmark.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions and Rangers from the City of Busselton have now removed the whale carcass from Quindalup Boat Ramp.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.
