Caution reminder over rotting whale carcass at Peaceful Bay

​The Department of Fisheries is advising water users in the Peaceful Bay area to continue to exercise extra caution, following the recent discovery of a whale carcass within the bay, which is approximately half way between Denmark and Walpole.

Additional caution urged over whale carcass near Bunbury

The Department of Fisheries is advising water users between Leschenault Inlet cut and Buffalo Beach to exercise additional caution after a report of a shark sighting in the vicinity of a whale carcass, which washed ashore near Bunbury’s Belvidere Beach earlier in the week.
