Shark ADVICE for Belvidere Beach near Australind

Current Alerts and Warnings

Update on 28 April at 4:50pm

Officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have successfully removed the whale carcass from Belvidere Beach near Australind.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.

Shark WARNING for Lighthouse Bay near Exmouth

Shark ADVICE for the Shark Warning System at Ellensbrook, near Gracetown

All shark warning systems in the Gracetown area are now fully operational.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from the whale carcass may still attract sharks to the area.

The Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions has removed the seal carcass near the mouth of 1st Creek, north of the Cheynes Beach Caravan Park in the Shire of Albany.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from the seal carcass may still attract sharks to the area.
