Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) advise that services have been restored to the SharkSmart WA app and website.
During the outage period, there was one white shark detected at the Bunker Bay (west) shark monitoring receiver at 09:58am. This detection information was posted to @SLSWA Twitter and provided to relevant land managers via text message. The Bunker Bay Shark Warning System was automatically activated upon detection of the shark, notifying beach users. This information is now available on the SharkSmart WA app and website.
