A shark WARNING has been issued for Ocean Beach Surfing Spot, Denmark after a reported shark interaction.

Parks and Wildlife Service officers from the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions have completed the incident response regarding the mass whale stranding incident at Cheynes Beach, near Albany. This includes the removal of whale carcasses from the beach.
Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcasses were beached may attract sharks to the area.

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.

Officers from the Shire of Augusta Margaret River have reopened beaches between Gas Bay and Margaret River Mouth Beach, following yesterday’s shark bite incident at Boat Ramp Surfing Spot.
The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) recommends additional caution in the Gnarabup and Prevelly area.

A shark WARNING has been issued for The Lagoon, Yallingup in the City of Busselton after a reported shark incident.
Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) are currently investigating a reported shark bite incident at Boat Ramp Surfing Spot, near Gnarabup Beach in the Shire of Augusta Margaret River.

Services have been restored to the land-based Shark Warning System (tower) at North Point, Gracetown.
