Shark ADVICE for the WA Shark Monitoring Network

Update on 23 August at 4:50pm 

The system outage affecting the Shark Monitoring Network has now been resolved and receivers are back on line.

The shark monitoring receivers located a Cowaramup Bay, Gracetown and Smiths Beach, Yallingup remain offline and require further onsite maintenance to restore service to these receivers.

Shark ADVICE for Falcon Bay near Mandurah

Update on 18 August at 10:30am

Rangers from the City of Mandurah have reopened the beaches in the Falcon Bay area. 

Additional caution is recommended by the Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development, as any residue from where the whale carcass was beached may still attract sharks to the area.
